Savimex Earns US$10M from Wood Exports in Jan-Aug
Savimex Corporation (SAV) said that it earned US$10 million from exports of wood products in the first eight months this year, rising 30% from a year earlier.
The HCM City-listed exporter currently produces 100 kinds of wood products, which are mainly exported to Japan, the U.S. and EU.
In the first half of this year, SAV made a net profit of VND6.734 billion (US$398,461) and revenue of VND172.27 billion, up 99.3% and 1.9% on-year, respectively.
This year, it expects pretax profit of VND15 billion on revenue of VND417 billion. (Liberated Saigon)
