Thai TOP Solvent to Take over Shell Arms in Vietnam
TOP Solvent, a subsidiary of Thailand’s largest oil refiner - Thai Oil Plc (TOP), will take over Shell's solvent production, distribution and marketing arms in Vietnam, said Teardchart Padungrat, TOP Solvent’s managing director.
The take-over will take place in next few weeks, Padungrat attributed.
TOP Solvent will distribute chemicals and solvent products in Vietnam in the first quarter of next year, he noted.
Last week, authorities in the southern province of Dong Nai approved TOP Solvent to produce, process, refine and package solvents and other chemicals relating to oil refining by its facility in Long Thanh district. (VIR)
