Vietnam Port Handles over 10M Tons of Cargos in Jan-Sept, down 0.9% on year
Haiphong Port handled 10.76 million tons of cargo between January and September this year, down 0.9% over a year ago.
The Giao Thong Van Tai newspaper said that, of the sum, container cargoes accounted for 560,000 TEU, down 3.72% from a year earlier.
The volume of steel and iron and cement, fell 0.8% and 48.45% from a year earlier to 1.98 million tons and 150,000 tons, respectively.
Meanwhile, animal feed transported via the port increased 52.5% over a year ago to 1 million tons in the nine-month period. (Transport)
