Vietnam-India Trade Forecast to Reach US$3B in 2010
Trade between Vietnam and India is forecast to reach US$3 billion next year from US$2.5 billion in 2008, said Indian Ambassador to Vietnam T. L. Muana.
Vietnam mainly exports agricultural products, seafood, handicrafts and footwear to India while it imports pharmaceuticals, health equipment and IT products, the ambassador said without estimating trade value for this year.
Early this month, President of Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam (INCHAM) S. Srivastava forecast that the two-way trade will hit US$5 billion in 2015. (Industry and Trade)
