EU Helps Promote Vietnam Export Portal
A series of introductory workshops on Vietnam export portal will be held in some areas between Oct. 20- 30 under the support of the EU-Vietnam Multilateral Trade Assistance Project (EU-Vietnam MUTRAP III).
The first workshop was organized in Hanoi on Oct. 20 and the rest will be in Ho Chi Minh City, Danang and Nha Trang cities and Quang Ninh province during the period.
The portal at www.vnex.com.vn, which offers information of 16,000 Vietnamese firms and their products, is expected to further help them expand export markets.
Vietnam is forecast to reap US$62.54 billion from exporting goods in 2010, up 6% from the estimated export value of US$59 billion for 2009. (Vietnam Economic Times, vnex.com.vn)
