Seo Incheon: Keeping Pace with International Standard

With more than 10 years of experience in the furniture industry in Korea, Seo Incheon has been one of the top leather sofa manufacturers and distributors in Korea.

 

To take advantages of low-labor cost and abundant source of materials in Vietnam, in June 2007, Seo Incheon opened its first sofa factory in Binh Duong Province. Dec 2007 saw another breakthrough when Seo Incheon launched its second factory in Dong Nai Province.

 

July 2008, Seo Incheon started its first delivery to the Korea market with a capacity of 8 to 10 containers per month.

 

 Seo Incheon Vietnam differentiates itself by a very high level of operating excellence and control over the manufacturing process. Its variety of products include sofas for offices, shops, public areas, upholstery products for hotels, cafés, restaurants, town houses and villas, etc. Each stage in the manufacturing process is closely monitored and supervised to ensure high quality of construction. In addition, all important fabric covers are hand sewn by well-trained specialists to ensure good fit and a well crafted look. “Besides strong, sturdy frame made by high quality wood, our products’ strength lies in our top quality leather. For common sofa manufacturers, the split and buffalo leather are widely used. But at Seo Incheon, we always use 100% full-leather which is produced in a Italian leather tannery”, said Mr. Choi, Min Suk, General Director of Seo Incheon Vietnam.

 

Although at first sight, 100% of products are exported to Korea, but according to Mr. Choi, Seo Incheon will launch specific models of sofas in Vietnam in 2010. The company is going to open some showrooms in Ho Chi Minh City, expanding its manufacturing facilities as well as designing models of sofas suitable for Vietnam market. “We are seeing increasing demands of our products, especially after Expo 2009 in Ho Chi Minh City. The expansion of our manufacturing facilities is our commitment to all of our customers and demonstrates our passion to grow, to produce world class leather sofas and enters new product lines in the future”, shared Mr. Choi.
