ViettelOwning 80% of Staff Aged under 30
After being restructured by transforming into an economic group in 2009, more than 50 percent of Viettel Group’s branch managers and deputies are aged under 32 and most have worked for the group for five years or longer.
This managerial force has rich management experience, profound expertise, excellent leadership and deep knowledge of Viettel culture. Most of this generation lay the first bricks for Viettel’s telecom service network. This force has been trained, challenged and matured to become a key element for the domestic and international expansion of the group.
Generally, 80 percent to managerial staffs (from branch deputy directors and centre directors upwards) are aged below 30. The average age of more than 20,000 Viettel employees is 28.4 years old.
Viettel determines that the human resources development strategy is started from training and developing internal managerial force. From 2008, Viettel annually selects young staffs for further training to become next elites of the group.
