The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will prioritize capitals for transport infrastructure projects in Hanoi this year.

The projects include Nhat Tan bridge, a road linking Thanh Tri bridge with the belt road 3, Gia Lam-Giap Bat railway and Nam Thang Long-Tran Hung Dao railway.

Hanoi disbursed VND2.757 trillion ($144.57 million) for major infrastructure projects in the first four months of this year, fulfilling 18.2% of the full-year target.

The city will need $160 billion for its development projects until 2020. Of the sum, private businesses will make up 48%, state budget 16% and state-run businesses 9%-12% and the remainder from other sources. (New Hanoi)
