SSG Opens 1st Phase of US$750M Saigon Pearl Complex
SSG Group JSC on May 21 opened the first stage of a US$750 million Saigon Pearl residential complex, which supplies five-star apartments, in Binh Thanh district of Ho Chi Minh City.
The complex, located on nearly 10.4 hectares by the Sai Gon River, consists of 126 villas and eight 37-storey buildings including hotels, shopping centers, offices for rent and other facilities. All the luxury villas and 500 river-view apartments are ready for occupancy.
SSG started construction of the complex in 2005 whose first stage is with villas and Ruby and Topaz buildings.
The group will open the Saigon Pearl International School in August which will admit some 600 students in September, and put into operation a retail center, medical service, banking and communication in October this year.
Currently, a high-rise flat Sapphire costing US$120 million at the complex is in the final stage. Its half of 526 luxury apartments will be transferred in Oct and the remaining will be offered to public in coming June.
