PetroVietnam Earns Revenues of $110B so far

The state-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) said at a press briefing on June 9 that its revenues have grown 20% per year to $110 billion so far.
 
On average, its revenues account for between 18% and 20% of the national annual GDP.
 
The group has to date paid taxes of $45 billion and its annual tax payments represent averagely between 28% and 30% of the country’s yearly state budget revenues.
 
The firm’s annual export revenues make up averagely 15% of the national total export revenues.
 
PetroVietnam had produced 317 million tons of oil equivalent from 259 million tons of crude oil and 58 billion cubic meters of natural gas as of end-May. (pvn.vn Jun 9)
