PetroVietnam H1 Crude Oil Output Estimated at 7.2MT
The state-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) estimates its crude oil production at 7.2 million tons in the first half of this year, down 16.76% from a year earlier.
The volume exceeded 2.11% of the period target and completed 48% of the full-year plan.
The firm’s natural gas output is estimated at 4.65 billion cubic meters in H1, 16.25% on year, surpassing 14.48% of the period target and meeting 58.16% of the full-year projection.
PetroVietnam estimates its oil equivalent output at 11.85% in the first half, down 6.32% on year, exceeding 6.63% of the period target and fulfilling 51.53% of the full-year expectation.
This year, the group forecast it would produce 15 million tons of crude oil and 8.58 billion cubic meters of natural gas, down 6.25% and 7.25% on year, respectively. (PVN)
