Vietnam Disburses VND45.6T State Capitals in Jan-May

Vietnam disbursed VND45.6 trillion ($2.4 billion) worth of state capitals in the first five months of this year, fulfilling 36.5% of the full-year target, the government’s General Statistics Office (GSO) said.
 
In May, the country disbursed VND12.2 trillion of the funds, meeting 9.8% of the target.
 
The Ministry of Transport took the lead in terms of the disbursement in the five-month period with VND3.21 trillion, followed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development with VND2 trillion and the Ministry of Industry and Trade with VND1.35 trillion.
Among cities and provinces, Hanoi topped the disbursement list with VND4.37 trillion. The runners-up were Ho Chi Minh City with VND4.21 trillion, Danang city with VND2.2 trillion and Ninh Binh province with VND1.2 trillion. (GSO May Edition)
