AAA General Director Supports VND1.5 Bln to Build Bridge

The 9^th storm in 2009 caused a lot of damages and seriously affected the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum.

The local people are still facing its consequences. A bridge at Dak Ang, Dak Nong and Dak Duc in Ngoc Hoi district, Kon Tum province which was swept away by the flood of the storm, has not been re-constructed. The local people have to cross the river by using cables, which has so far caused many accidents.

Feeling sorry for the victims, Do Thi Kim Lien, General Director AAA Insurance Company and her family decided to donate VND1.5 billion to build a chain-bridge, which is hoped to make it easy for the locals especially students to travel.
