Vietsovpetro to Realize 2010 Oil Production Target by Dec 20

Vietnam-Russia Oil and Gas JV (Vietsovpetro) is expected to fulfill its full-year target to produce 6.2 million tons of crude oil by Dec 20, General Director Nguyen Huu Tuyen said.
 
Tuyen said that the JV will bring its crude oil production output to 6.4 million tons this year.
 
The firm has produced 190 million tons of crude oil and brought in revenues of $51 billion over the past 29 years.
 
It has paid taxes worth $33 billion during the 29-year period.
 
Vietsovpetro is a joint venture between Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) and Zarubezhneft of Russia with the Vietnam side holding a 51% stake. (Youth)
