VCCI Introduces Business Administration CD-Rom
The Vietnam Software Development Centre (VSDC), under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on June 28 officially introduced the "Business Administration Handbook" CD-Rom. It comprises over 5,000 pages with three main sections: principal rules in business administration, administration skills (business strategy, production, human resources and finance) and useful information for enterprises (import-export procedures, tax and industrial property).
The CD-Rom is especially useful for small and medium-sized enterprises which account for up to 90% of total businesses in Vietnam, since they are facing difficulties due to a lack of funding, high-skilled workforce or market and information technology. Enterprises are also provided with the latest information about the market situation through the initiative.
VSDC is reported to have commenced work on the CD from April 2003 for its timely introduction in Hanoi on June 28 and in Ho Chi Minh City on July 2, 2004. Each CD-Rom is priced at VND250,000.
