Seminar on Challenges in Natural Resources Management

How can natural resources be used efficiently to promote robust economic growth and alleviate poverty in a manner that is environmentally and socially sustainable? This is the theme of a seminar on discoveries of Vietnam Development Report 2011 released by the World Bank (WB) in Hanoi.

 

This is the latest WB report on challenges to development progress of Vietnam. This is the main topic of discussion on challenges that Vietnam face in natural resources management.

 

It aims to inform the reform agenda of the government of Vietnam on natural resources management, and to harmonize development partner support for this framework. Therefore the emphasis is not so much on background description as it is on a discussion of the way forward.
