With its right development strategy, My Phong Leather Shoes Co., Ltd has gradually asserted its name in the leather shoe industry. The company has continued to expand production scales to meet the market demand.
Currently, My Phong Leather Shoes Company has three branches in Tra Vinh province. Its major Tieu Can Branch will need some 7,400 workers (expected to recruit 1,200 workers this year). Tra Cu Branch has about 5,200 workers (expected to grow to 6,000 workers this year). Phuoc Hung Branch (Tra Cu district) started operations in May 2011.

As a leading company of the wholly foreign-invested shoemaker, the company mainly produces leather shoes for export. Tieu Can Branch is being expanded and expected to be completed by August 2011. The company will invest in building packaging factories and leatherette workshops, which are scheduled for official operations in late 2011. Phuoc Hung and Tra Cu branches mainly manufacture spare parts and front components for finalisation in Tieu Can Branch. When the plans are complete, the company can manufacture 15 million pairs of shoe a year.

My Phong Leather Shoes Company has three main product lines, namely children's shoes, women’s shoes, and men’s shoes. The company’s products target at medium and low-income earners. With its leading name, the company receives many orders. Its current capacity cannot satisfy all orders from customers. Hence, the company continuously invests to expand production scales to meet the demand for both quality and quantity.

Currently, the company's products are exported to many markets like South America - the main market. The company also sells its products in Europe and Asia (mainly Japan). In the coming time, My Phong Leather Shoes Company will expand to the production of upmarket shoes for high-income earners.

The firm also applies best policies, according to its capacity, to its employees. It is now applying the payroll mechanism provided by the State of Vietnam and allowance mechanism like performance pay, responsibility pay, meal allowance and environmental support. Average monthly income of a worker is VND2.1 million.

The company always makes its employees feel secure in their employment. When disputes arise, the company and trade union will quickly seek out best solutions for all stakeholders. Hence, the company has a stable workforce and good conditions for speed up production.

Currently, My Phong Leather Shoes Company needs more time to be perfect and it hopes local authorities will lend a helping hand in case strikes occur.
