Truong Thanh: Strong Capacity Proved in Each Project

With its excellence in managing financial and human resources, and promoting collective strengths, Truong Thanh Co., Ltd has quickly established its name in construction projects.

 

Truong Thanh began official operation in 2001. In the first three years of operation, the company only undertook small road and water construction projects in rural areas. In 2004, it quickly grew into a top construction company in the northern mountainous province of Son La. Also that year, Truong Thanh embarked on the construction of Suoi Sap irrigation project – one of the largest water projects in the province. In 2005, it completed this project and started on the 14.4 MGW Suoi Sap 2 hydropower plant, powered by four 3.6 MGW turbines. In 2007, the plant was completed and connected to the national power grid. This was the first privately invested power plant in Son La province.

 

Following the success with Suoi Sap hydropower plant, in 2008, the company cooperated with specialists in centrally run agencies to prepare the construction of Ngoi Hut 2 hydropower plant in Yen Bai province, which cost VND1,320 billion in total.

 

To facilitate this project, Truong Thanh invested over VND150 billion to build a 20km road linking National Road 32 to the power plant site, constructed dams and bridges spanning Ngoi Hut Spring, and a 15-km 110-KV electric transmission line system.
