MTA Vietnam 2011 Opens in HCM City

The 8th Vietnam International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition and Conference (MTA Vietnam 2011) was opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City from July 5 to 8, 2011. The event was hosted by VCCI Exhibition Service Co., Ltd and Singapore Exhibition Services Pte Ltd (SES). The 8th annual event, covering on a campus of 7,800 square metres, featured 320 exhibitors from 27 countries and territories in the world.

 

MTA Vietnam has strongly expanded in the past seven years thanks to active supports from authorities and businesses. MTA Vietnam 2011, apart from the space for displaying metal shapers and cutters, also caught the attention of visitors for latest and best equipment and technologies.

 

MTA Vietnam 2011 was also incorporated with in-depth seminars on matters of concerns.

 

Dr Vu Tien Loc, President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), said: “This is a very important international event that opens plenty of opportunities for the manufacturing industry and represents high appreciation of international organisations and groups for potentials and opportunities of investment in Vietnam, specially achievements Vietnam has gained in its inclusive economic and social reform in recent years.”
