Japanese Friendship Delegation Thanks Vietnam for Tsunami Aid

President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations, Vu Xuan Hong, received a Japanese friendship delegation led by Kimiaki Matsuzaki, Vice President of the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance in Hanoi on July 19, 2011.
 
Other Japanese guests included Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Yasuyaki Tanizaki, representatives from friendship associations, and specialists from nuclear power plants in Japan’s Tokyo and Tohoku regions.
 
On the behalf of Mr Michihiko Kano, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Mr Kimiaki Matsuzaki handed over a letter from the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance to Mr Vu Xuan Hong to thank the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations, and express gratitude to the Vietnamese Government, people and organisations for their assistance to Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims.
 
Ambassador Yasuyaki Tanizaki said that “What we have seen proved that Japan - Vietnam strategic partnership is right and as good as expected.”
 
Mr Vu Xuan Hong also decorated a campaign medal on Mr Dao Hong Tuyen, Chairman of Tuan Chau Group, for his valuable contributions and aids for Japanese victims.
