Over VND100 Bln for Fishery Promotion in 2011-2015
The National Agricultural Extension Centre said fishery promotion programme will get VND102.1 billion for its operations from 2011 to 2015.
Funding will prioritise projects with advanced production process, high productivity and GAP production standard.
The programme aims to provide farmers with knowledge and skills in management and culturing techniques towards sustained efficiency and food safety, said the centre.
The programme will also target at aquaculture in saline, brackish and fresh waters. The aquaculture output is expected to make up for over 50 percent of Vietnam’s aquatic ouput.
