HABUBANK Wins Southeast Asia CIO Award 2011

Mr Cao Ba Thuy, Head of Information Technology Department of Hanoi Building Commercial Joint Stock Bank (HABUBANK) won the Southeast Asia CIO Award 2011 for his initiatives in banking IT development planning.

 

He was one of 12 Southeast Asia CIO Award 2011 winners. Southeast Asia CIO Award was initiated by International Data Group (IDG) in 2005 in honour of outstanding CIOs with important contributions to promote improvement and differentiation of companies.

 

Criteria for CIO 2011 are not only limited to specialisation like assessing programmes, systems and projects CIO have successfully carried out but also put the accent on strategic vision and creativity of candidates.

In recent years, HABUBANK has continuously applied modern, advanced IT solutions to improve operational efficiency of the system as well as the quality of products and services for customers. The Hanoi-based lender has focused on completing and expanding management software applications like credit scoring system, risk management system, internal capital transfer, document management, asset management, personnel management, shareholder management, etc.
