Vietrade, HEPZA Sign Trade Development Agreement
The Vietnam Trade Agency (Vietrade) recently signed a cooperation agreement on trade promotion and industrial development investment with the Ho Chi Minh City Industrial and Export Processing Authority (HEPZA). The deal aims to strengthen the bilateral cooperation in promoting trade, facilitating companies to expand production and export and enhance competition on international markets.
To this effect, Vietrade and HEPZA will jointly carry out State-managed activities related to trade promotion for HCM City-based industrial parks and export processing zones as well as support companies in IPs and EPZs to execute legal documents, strategies, plans, programmes and projects on trade promotion and industrial development investment.
Besides, Vietrade will instruct Vietnamese offices of commerce in foreign nations to facilitate companies in HCM City-based IPs and EPZs to carry out their trade promotion, advertisement on its information and communication channels, arrange meetings and introductions with domestic and foreign corporations planning to invest inside HCM City-based IPs and EPZs.
