METALEX Vietnam 2011: More Markets and Profits Ahead for Vietnam’s Industries

METALEX - NEPCON Vietnam 2011 was closed with great success with 10,578 visitors and 84% on-site booking rate for exhibit space of the next edition in 2012, remarked Mr. Chainarong Limpkittisin, Managing Director of Reed Tradex, the leading ASEAN exhibition organizer.
 
The positive results have confirmed the abundance of technologies & machinery as well as business and networking opportunities provided at METALEX Vietnam and NEPCON Vietnam from 6-8 October at SECC, Ho Chi Minh City. International business cooperations between buyers, sellers, and business partners have been boosted. Useful knowledge was shared at the seminars. The participants were captivated by amazing performances of Titan the Robot. Technology presentations and seminars organized by leading organizations, including our own METALEX Vietnam & NEPCON Vietnam Forum, received strong interests from participants who were enthusiastic about new knowledge to develop businesses. The business matchmaking program was always bustling with thousands of new partnerships who have found their perfect buyers, dealers, sellers, agents and suppliers from the shows.

I’m impressed by the organization and promotion by Reed Tradex to attract visitors to participate, especially the performance from Titan the Robot.”

We come to Vietnam this time to meet users and trading companies to find local partners. Mr Choi Heon General Manager Busan Economic Promotion Agency Korea Pavilion: “This year, we come here with 6 companies and some already got customers. We realize the fact that the industry in Vietnam is developing at this time and technology here has been updated to promote the whole economy. Busan is the brother city of HCMC city for many signed development contracts and policies, and many companies from our city have already set up their officers in HCMC for easier business activities.”
 
Ms. Carolyn Chew, Senior Manager International Trade Development Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation , Singapore Pavilion: “Our exhibitors who come to represent Singapore Pavilion this year bring with them a variety of products in many fields such as machining centers, tooling and electronics assembly systems. The industrial sector in Vietnam has high potential and we hope to promote products from Singapore to support that growth.”
