Competitive Trademarks Singled Out
The Board of Preliminary Selection announced a list of 171 (out of a total 778) trademarks and products considered highly competitive, which will go on to compete for the Sao Vang Dat Viet Prize on August 3.
These trademarks and products are found in 20 sectors throughout Vietnam, including food, metal and mechanics, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, insurance, finance and banking, informatics and transport. Famous brand names include Vinatea, Lilama, Pjico, FPT Elead, Pinaco and Viglacera, which have become familiar names in domestic and foreign markets. Trademarks through to the next round are mainly concentrated in Vietnam’s economic hubs, with 33 from Hanoi, 26 from Ho Chi Minh City and eight from Hai Phong.
According to the panel of adjudicators, the trademarks and products were judged on their price and market, quality, technology-usage and the promotion service of every enterprise.
