The hotel previously belonged to OSC Vietnam . Since equitization the hotel has been managed by Thang Muoi JSC tourism company and operated independently . State capital of OSC Vietnam accounts for 29%, the rest belongs to outside shareholders. The director of Thang Muoi Hotel - Mr. Do Hoang Dao said that after equitizing , business activity prosper continuously, proved by the impressive numbers : annual sale grew over 10% and profit increased by 20%.
Early in 2011, economic fluctuations, inflation, price risingaffected the tourism in general and in particular for Thang Muoi hotel when the tourist numbers have dropped significantly. To cope with this challenge, the hotel provides manydemand stimulus programs. For old customers, the hotel has supportive programswhich reduce30 percent of total cost and about 50% on normal days. Besides that, there are also promotions for wedding reception. So far these entire stimulus programsare having positive effects.
Talking about future development, Mr. Do Hoang Dao said the board of directors has approved the project and changed the entire hotel. The project is divided into three phases. First, we will upgrade the entire beach area with a total investment of about 20 billion to more advanced services such as restaurants, swimming pools, park recreation services for children. In the second phase, half of the hotel will be constructed into a villa for rent with an investment of about 250 billion dong and the third phase will be to build high-rise hotels and apartments from the rest of the investment which is about 250 billion. Until 2020, we expected to complete all three phasein sync with perfect service and quality service, so the Thang Muoi hotel is always an impressive and familiar place to visitors.
