Crown Prince of Denmark to Visit Vietnam

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark will pay an official visit to Vietnam from November 28 to December 1, 2011 at the invitation of Vietnamese Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan on the 40th anniversary of Vietnam - Denmark diplomatic relations establishment. The Danish Crown Prince will be accompanied by Minister of Trade and Investment, Pia Olsen Dyhr, along with delegates from Danish companies and educational institutions.
 
Prince Frederik's visit to Vietnam is expected to strengthen and promote new commercial, cultural and educational partnership between Denmark and Vietnam. Key contents of anniversary events include sustainable business cooperation in green growth and CSR (corporate social responsibility), cultural diversity and artists’ collaboration as well as climate change awareness and solutions and the transfer of knowledge through joint research and educational exchanges.
 
A series of cultural events are also planned in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the anniversary of the two countries' diplomatic relations including a week of Danish films, theatre, music, installation arts, photography, and literature. Many other significant activities will be organised throughout the commemorative period, including new business contract signing, new project launch, cinemas and talk shows with artists.
