After 15 years operating in Vietnam, Language Link Vietnam has had more than 200,000 trainees and forged official partnerships with more than 80 international universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and many other nations. These are ‘speaking’ numbers about the largest English training and education institution in Hanoi.

15 years - a long way
Arriving in Hanoi in late 1996, Language Link set up the Language Link English Training Centre in accordance with Establishment Decision 2809/QDUB of the Hanoi People’s Committee and Operation Certificate GP77/GDCN of the Hanoi Education and Training Department.

On April 5, 2002, Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment issued Decision 2255/DTNN allowing Language Link to establish a wholly foreign-invested company. This came after the Vietnamese Government’s promulgation of regulations on the formation of foreign education and training institutions. Today, Language Link Vietnam is one of the best providers of education consulting services, English language training and skills in Vietnam.

After 15 years in Vietnam, Language Link has become the first choice for all students in search of overseas study consultancy and English language training. Trainees include individuals, employees from companies, government organisations, non-government organisations, and human resource development projects funded by governments of many countries in the world.

Without doubt, Language Link is a pacesetting foreign education investor and a pioneer in community development in Vietnam in the past 15 years.

Language Link - the navigator
The success of Language Link is linked to the image of CEO Gavan Iacono, who has oriented the development of this organisation for over 10 years. He arrived in Vietnam in 1992 and worked as a teacher of English at the Hanoi University of Foreign Languages. He joined Language Link as a trainer from November 2001 and was promoted to the business development manager and then the general director. Gavan has an incisive working knowledge of both Australia and Vietnam, combining a rare blend of sound business sense and genuine academic integrity.

Gavan said, since its inception, Language Link Vietnam has determined that the ultimate goal is education quality built on dedication to Vietnam’s human resource development. The ISO 9001-2000 Certificate by the UK-based BVQI is a testimony to the tireless efforts of Language Link to build an international standard education programme. Besides, plenty of certificates of merits granted by the Prime Minister and awards for best services voted by consumers are the recognition for Language Link Vietnam’s contributions to the process of international economic integration.

Supported by fast information technology development, Language Link is determined to develop all-inclusive online English learning environment for its trainees. Close cooperation with Navitas, a world-leading provider of education services and solutions, is a top priority for Language Link, enabling trainees to “Study at Language Link, graduate anywhere.” Navitas has presence in many leading universities in the US, the UK, Australia, Canada and other nations. This is an opportunity for Language Link students to obtain internationally recognised diplomas and certificates.

Indeed, the values that Language Link instils on “Vietnamese human resources” will be the key to unlock sustained development.
