Exercising social responsibility
In addition to hotel business, Yasaka Saigon Nhatrang Hotel was also assigned by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee to restore and operate Hai Thai ancient house complex in Suoi Tien commune, Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province. Mr Dong Luong Son, Director of Yasaka Saigon Nhatrang Hotel, said: The purpose of this restoration is not for business but to revamp and preserve a rarely seen ancient architecture in Khanh Hoa province. By doing this, the hotel will help young generations understand their origins and culture and introduce local cultural identity to visitors. Following this project, the Khanh Hoa People’s Committee entrusted Yasaka Saigon Nhatrang Hotel to look after, protect and restore Doctor Yersin’s Tomb in Suoi Dau and his workplace in Hon Ba (Cam Lam District).
Mr Dong Luong Son added that the biggest successes of Yasaka Saigon Nhatrang Hotel are perfect infrastructure development, high profit growth, good branding and effective human resource training for the tourism sector. The hotel set up Yasaka Saigon Nhatrang International Hotel Professional Training Centre to train hotel and restaurant managers and staff. After more than three years of operation, the centre has trained 600 - 800 students each year to meet the demand for high-quality tourism human resources in Nha Trang City.
