As a leader in the sector of geological exploration, over the years Vinacomin Mining Geology Company Limited has drilled 2,504,409 meters into the ground, out of which there are 279,000 meters of deep drill; 1,400,000 cubic meters of trenches; 21,694 meters of exploration ovens and has handed into storage 439 geological reports of all types. Those geological reports are invaluable documents, showing that our country has many large coal resources such as: Quang Ninh coal basin, Red River delta coal basin, inland coal, and peat. With deeper exploration projects and more complicated conditions, Soviet geological exploration equipment turned out to be outdated and have short duration, so the company actively renewed all of its outdated equipment with new, modern equipment from Japan, Sweden, Australia and China. The properties of those devices are included in the training curriculum required by the company, therefore its staff and employees run the devices skilfully and effectively. They are most modern and advanced devices both in Vietnam and worldwide in the field of hard mineral drilling and exploration.

 

The precise, detailed measurement and exploration to extract coal has become an important basis for the development of the industry, efficiently serving the economic development of the country. On the path to development, the company aims to bring its people and modern technology and equipment to take part in the global geological extraction chain, which shows not only the company’s outstanding ability but also the firmness of Vietnam geologists.
