Trade Fair, Exhibition on 10-year Mekong Delta Construction and Development

The Steering Committee for Southwest Region organised a meeting on organising trade fair, exhibition on 10 years of building and developing the Mekong Delta region in Can Tho City on March 29, 2012. The committee also announced the opening of a trade fair for the region from April 27 to May 1, 2012.

 

Notably, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the steering committee will host a workshop on mechanising commercial rice production and building sample rice fields” on April 27. The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) and the committee will organise a seminar on developing credit markets and banking services in the Mekong Delta on April 28. The Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV), the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), the Central Party Committee for Enterprise Block, and the steering committee will hold a trade and investment promotion event on April 29. The Development Consulting Institute and the steering committee will chair a conference on Mekong Delta development through 2100.
