ABBank Named Official Agent for Western Union

Western Union recently awarded a cooperation contract to An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBank), making the latter an official agent for Western Union in Vietnam.

 

Western Union is now the world’s leading money transfer brand with presence in 200 countries and territories. Vietnam is proven to have a rapid, robust and potential growth. Western Union has forged cooperation with more than 40 leading banks, post offices and private enterprises in Vietnam. ABBANK meets Western Union’s criteria for the service, particularly development potential, financial strength, anti-money laundering regulation, broad networks and high money transfer turnover.

 

Being an official Western Union agent, ABBank will have the opportunity to increase service revenues, profitability and product cross-selling. “In the coming time, we will have strategies to improve the quality of Western Union services, increase revenues and expand Western Union services to be its major source of remittance incomes,” said ABBank General Director Dang Quang Minh.
