Developing Leadership and Negotiation Skills in Businesses

The "Strengthening public support functions in small and medium enterprise support" project and JICA project under the Enterprise Development Department - the Ministry of Planning and Investment will coordinate with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organise a training course on “Developing Leadership and Negotiation Skills in Businesses” (Leadership VN-09) from June 13 to 15, 2012 at VCCI.

 

The training programme is designed for business leaders, business middle-level managers, organisation managers, chiefs and deputies of planning, personnel and wages departments, etc. This aims at supplementing leadership knowledge and skills as well as boosting confidence and advantage in negotiations.

 

Training contents include: Negotiations in business development strategy; communication and negotiation; settlement of dispute arising from business contracts; integrity and transparency in business; cross-management; human leadership and changes; leadership and decision-making skills.

 

Main speaker is Dr Charles W. Crumpton, senior lecturer at the University of Hawaii, US. He is voted the best arbitrator in the US and serves as a senior consultant of the Vietnam Development Programme led by the United Nations in coordination with the Vietnam Lawyers' Association.
