Kinhbac City Development Holding Corporation: Bringing Utilities to Investors

To attract more investors into industrial parks, authorities at all tiers in Bac Ninh province have made efforts to improve the investment, production and business environment. Together with that, industrial park developers actively adopt measures to take care of their customers. A well-known pioneer in this effect is Kinhbac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC), the investor of four out of 14 centralised industrial parks in Bac Ninh province.
Since its establishment, KBC has always attached great importance to bringing in big investors along with their supporting companies as well. In fact, in recent years, KBC has “lured” a lot of foreign investors to Bac Ninh, like world-renowned Canon, Sanyo, Foxconn, Mitac and their satellite companies.

In recent years, as domestic and global economies have slowed down, the number of companies investing in production and business activities is falling. As it is much more difficult now to attract investors, KBC has timely introduced solutions to offer products suitable and practical to the needs of customers. Knowing the needs of investors in this crisis time, that is, limiting major investment and directing small investments, KBC has built a series of small and medium-sized factories to help its customers to minimise their initial investment costs. Within just two years, the first 16-factory complex was completed. To date, KBC has leased nearly 100 percent of complete industrial units.

In addition, KBC is always conscious of environmental protection to ensure sustainable development. Que Vo Industrial Park is a typical example. Despite capital difficulties, the corporation still built modern, large-capacity wastewater treatment systems to serve all industrial units. To ensure the environment around the industrial park, KBC regularly coordinates with functional agencies to inspect and supervise tenants discharging waste into the environment to prevent environment-polluting activities.

Recognizing that its people play a vital and decisive role in the success of any business, KBC always supports and creates favourable conditions for its employees to have a stable life and peace of mind to be devoted to the company. It built residential quarters in its industrial parks. The first-phase residences include four 5-storey blocks which can accommodate about 2,500 workers. In the following stages, the corporation will build based on real demand. Tenants may choose one of two following methods: Renting residences for their employees with their own money or supporting their employees to rent. Hopefully, with such utilities, more workers from other provinces and cities will come to work and live in Bac Ninh province.
