Nearly 99 Pct SOEs in HCM City Perform Effectively

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has announced that 99 percent of State-owned enterprises (SOEs) under the city People's Committee are performing effectively.

 

The figures were released on September 25 at a meeting to review the ten-year rearrangement, innovation and improvement of SOEs’ performance under the city’s People’s Committee.

 

The city has completed the restructuring of 100 percent of 385 SOEs and it now has 90 enterprises with 100 percent State-owned capital (excluding Ho Chi Minh City Finance and Investment State-owned Company). 89 out of 90 enterprises reported profits, accounting for nearly 99 percent.
