Viet-Euro Consulting Co. - A Reliable Go-between

Viet-Euro Consulting Company was established in 2002 with the aim of meeting the high demand of Vietnamese manufacturers for seeking technology and equipment in the German market and the European Union (EU) and providing western companies with necessary information before investing in Vietnam.

Three years ago, Mr. Alois Maier, General Manager of Viet-Euro Consulting came to Vietnam to look for business opportunities in Vietnam. After comparing Vietnam’s investment environment with that in Singapore and Thailand, he finally chose Vietnam because, in his opinion, there was a big opportunity for investment here, especially in the field of consultancy on high technology. In 2001, the company was granted an investment license issued by the People’s Committee of Quy Nhon province. Mr Alois Maier said: “We are investing in hi-tech and technology transfer. We have very good cooperation with EU partners, so we can help companies in Vietnam contact and obtain information about EU markets”.

He commented that bilateral relations between Vietnam and German have developed more than ever, adding that “We have a strong belief in the positive reform policies of the Vietnam Government currently, particularly its bid to join the WTO and efforts in building a stable monetary policy. Moreover, Vietnam shows a relatively rapid growth rate, positive investment environment, stable political system, and no discrimination against different religions or groups of people. That is a good place for investors to come.” 

"We offer experienced and well educated experts in different fields. We also have access to a worldwide market to collect information and human resources, and close relations with the EU, making us able to help German and other EU investors to understand market conditions in Vietnam before deciding to do business here," he concluded.
