VCCI-HCM Meets Ehime Business Association

The Ehime Business Association (Japan), led by Mr Ota Norio, Executive Director of Central Ehime Prefecture Business Association, recently paid a working visit to the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI-HCM).

VCCI-HCM Director Vo Tan Thanh said that Japan is the top investor in Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh City encourages and attracts Japanese businesses in general and Ehime Prefecture businesses in particular to invest in ancillary industries and high-valued production sectors. He pledged that the VCCI - HCM is ready to support the Ehime business delegation with necessary information and partner seeking at their request, with the aim of helping Japanese businesses to achieve success in an easier way.

At the meeting, Ehime representatives also introduced economic strengths and potential cooperation fields to Vietnam while pledging to provide full information about the market and create advantageous investment environment for businesses.

 

Mr Le Long Son, Director E SU HAI Company and the head of Ehime Prefecture business delegation, said, through human resource training and manpower supply, E SU HAI wants to attract investment and promote trade from Ehime Prefecture, Japan to Vietnam. At the meeting, E SU HAI said it expected the VCCI would support the organisation of a commercial - economic exchange conference in HCM City in the third quarter of 2013 to provide a forum for Ehime SMEs and Vietnamese businesses to form cooperation and investment ventures, thus facilitating Vietnam’s supporting industry development and market expansion.
