Discovering the Future of Mining Industry in Vietnam

The National Mining Science & Engineering Conference is slated for December 5, 2012 at the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Centre (VEFAC). The event will delve into many aspects of mining in Vietnam.

 

The Vietnam Mining of Science and Technology Association sponsor this event and is organising the 23rd conference under the theme of "Vietnam mineral development strategy - From vision to action." The meeting will have an overview of the development of scientific and technical activities of mining industry in recent years, including geology, survey, and mineral resource. The conference will also assess mining, processing and use of solid, air and gas minerals.

 

Other topics of discussions include matters of production management and production costs, like measures to cost reduction and scientific labour organisation. This aims to encourage and promote the application of advanced mining technologies in Vietnam. The conference will also consider the future use of mineral resources with a focus on planning and forecasting.
