Sapporo Celebrates First Anniversary in Vietnam

Sapporo Vietnam Co., Ltd officially celebrated its first anniversary of Sapporo Vietnam brewery inauguration in Viet Hoa Industrial Park, Duc Hoa district, Long An province on November 24, 2012.

 

Sapporo Vietnam Co., Ltd is a US$86 million joint venture between Vietnam Tobacco Corporation and Sapporo Holdings Ltd of Japan. The company manufactures and supplies Sapporo-branded premium beer for the domestic market and export throughout Southeast Asia. The output will be raised from the current 40 million litres a year to 100 million litres by 2015 and 150 million litres by 2019.

 

Currently, Sapporo Vietnam produces four types of Sapporo-branded beer, including 330ml-bottle, 330-ml can, 650-ml silver can and 20-litre beer keg.

 

In the coming time, Sapporo Vietnam Co., Ltd will expand its market from Ho Chi Minh City to other provinces in Vietnam and to neighbouring countries, especially Southeast Asia.
