Six Vietnamese Leaders Win ASEAN CSO Awards 2012
International Data Group (IDG) Vietnam announced 10 winners of ASEAN Chief Security Officer (CSO) Awards 2012 on December 4, 2012 in Ho Chi Minh City, of which Vietnam secured six prizes.
A total of 56 candidates applied for ASEAN CSO Awards 2012, including 40 from Vietnam. Awarding categories include information technology and telecommunications, banking, finance, insurance, government, social organisations, industry associations, etc.
ASEAN CSO Awards 2012 was organised by IDG in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Team (VNCERT).
The awards honour outstanding individuals who are responsible for information security to ensure business continuity and minimise risks of information leak.
This was the fourth ASEAN CSO Awards with 43 chief information officers honoured to date.
