CEO&CIO Club Hosts Second Congress

CEO&CIO Club organised the second congress in Hanoi on February 28, 2013.

 

Distinguished attendees included leaders of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and central agencies. The club presented a report on activities in the first term which centred on image building, capacity building, and membership development.

 

According to the report, the club attracted 416 members, an increase of 298 per cent against 2007. In addition, the club also became an important bridge between the Government and enterprises, between enterprises and IT associations, and among enterprises to develop Vietnam's ICT industry and integrate into the world CEO & CIO community.

 

The meeting also discussed and adopted operating orientations for the second term, focusing on membership, international cooperation and integration, and professional works. The club also passed the Charter, comprising of eight chapters and 30 clauses, and elected the board of management and the board of examination.
