Northern Coastal Region Business Conference 2013

Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Hai Phong Branch (VCCI - Hai Phong ) recently co-organised the Northern Coastal Region Business Conference 2013 in Thai Binh province.

 

Mr Phi Van Duc, Director of VCCI - Hai Phong Branch, reviewed his branch’s operation results in 2012, business community supports, opinion collection, sending proposals from enterprises and entrepreneurs to the Government, ministries and local authorities on measures to overcome the difficulties and challenges arising from impacts of the economic downturn, and on improvements of administrative procedure reform.

 

Also at the meeting, Thai Binh province introduced its investment environment, trade, tourism and services, in a bid to attract more investors and provide a forum for local enterprises to contact, exchange experience and set up business cooperation with other enterprises in the region.

 

On this occasion, VCCI admitted 83 new members and handed over Certificates of Merit from the VCCI President to 82 units with outstanding production and business achievements in 2012.
