VCW Expo 2013 Opens in HCM City
Vietnam Consumer Digital World Expo 2013 (VCW 2013) recently took place at Riverside Palace Convention Centre, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City. The event was organised by the International Data Group (IDG ASEAN) in collaboration with the Vietnam Digital Communications Association, the Vietnam Internet Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Information Processing Association, and the CEO & CIO Club.
The exhibition consisted of nearly 200 booths for over 100 Vietnamese and foreign exhibitors. Exhibits included hardware, office equipment, digital audio equipment, digital imaging equipment, mobile telecommunications equipment.
Specially, at VCW 2013, IDG ASEAN introduced its operating model, ASEAN DEMO, in the world in 22 years, which was brought to Vietnam for the first time. At DEMO ASEAN, start-up companies based on technology platform will introduce new products, services and applications to serve the needs of consumers, businesses, and government organisations.
