The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in 2013 is expected to increase 7 percent, 0.05 percent lower than the predicted index in a similar survey conducted earlier.

The figure came from the latest survey conducted by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV)’s Monetary Statistics and Forecasting Department from late September to early October among credit organizations and foreign-invested banks in Vietnam.

The CPI in October is forecast to rise 0.76 percent, lower than in September (1.06 percent) and the same period last year (0.85 percent).
