Vietcombank Donates Medical Equipment to Friendship Hospital

The Friendship Hospital recently hosted a ceremony to inaugurate the high-rise medical building - a newly built modern facility and one of many Friendship Hospital upgrading projects in the 2006 - 2013 period invested by the Ministry of Health. The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) funded all interiors of the two-floor Internal Medicine Department at a total value of VND5 billion. With this funding, the 45-room Internal Medicine Department of the Friendship Hospital meets modern international standards, with nearly 100 beds.

 

After more than 50 years of development, Vietcombank always takes part in social security, charity and appreciation activities. In recent years, the lender has actively supported many hospitals in Nghe An, Quang Ngai and other provinces with modern facilities to provide better healthcare services for the people. The bank also sponsored modern medical equipment for centrally run hospitals like Xanh Pon Hospital, Hanoi Paediatrics Hospital, and Danang Oncology Hospital, and visited and presented gifts to patients in Hanoi hospitals.
