Seafood Export Reaches US$5.37 Billion in Jan-Oct
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said Vietnam’s seafood export was projected to reach US$689 million in October, totalling US$5.37 billion in the first 10 months of 2013, up 6 percent year on year.
The United States remained the largest importer of Vietnamese seafood with 21.7 percent of market share. Shipments to China, Canada and Thailand posted significant growths in the reporting period while declines were seen in shipments to Australia, South Korea and Italy.
