In recent years, Ha Giang Construction Department has made many efforts to revise planning and administrative procedure reform in order to support businesses attracting resources to develop infrastructure and to promote socio - economic development, poverty reduction and to grasp opportunities from regional economic integration.
The province will strive to enhance foreign investment and aids; at the same time, coordinate with other Vietnam representative agencies abroad to promote tourism potentials, especially in Dong Van Karst Plateau and heritage Hoang Su Phi terraced fields. The Department has been coordinating with relevant agencies and localities to advise the province in planning, exploration programming, exploitation, processing and using of minerals as construction materials in the period 2009-2015 and developing the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark. The Department has sent staff taking part in quarry site exploitation crew in Stone Plateau areas chaired by Dong Van Karst Geopark to advise PPC in inspecting and requiring the districts’ People’s Committees to suspense operation of illegal exploitation sites or those violating conservation regulations. Currently, illegal exploitation has been completely terminated in this area.
To achieve such encouraging results, in recent years, Ha Giang Construction Department has been positive, proactive and innovative in reforming administrative procedures to support businesses, contributing to the provincial socio - economic development. Ha Giang defined administrative procedure reform as the key strategic task in this period. Leadership and all officers, civil servants and employees of the Department always uphold their responsibility in handling administrative procedure requests. All administrative procedures are reduced in terms of procedures and execution time. Ha Giang will decisively promote the directing and executing role of leadership and levels in deploying the One-Stop Shop mechanism (OSS); actively building and issuing legal documents of connected mechanism in many fields; regularly updating State’s new guidance documents in management, supplement, repealing and promulgation of administrative procedures. The propaganda and training for staff to perform administrative procedure reform also need to focus on.
Despite many difficulties, all officers of the Ha Giang Department of Construction in particular and provincial agencies in general are putting the best effort to build and promote Ha Giang to catch up with other provinces in Vietnam.
