VPBank, VPBS Launch Sea and Island Support Programme

Vietnam Prosperity Bank (VPBank) and VPBank Securities Company (VPBS) recently donated VND300 million and a lot of gifts to offshore islanders and military personnel, thus kicking off a series of programmes towards the fatherland sea and islands.

 

This programme aims to raise the public awareness of water and island sovereignty, mobilise resources for inspiring and strengthening the will of military personnel and civilians in the sea in the cause of defending the national sovereignty.

 

VPBank presented the donations at the Navy Command of Vietnam and VPBS handed the gifts at the Headquarters of Vietnam Coast Guard after VPBank visited military personnel and citizens in Truong Sa Islands where the largest national flag of Vietnam of 310 square metres (12.4m x 25m) and four embossments were sponsored by VPBank in May 2012.

 

At the donation ceremonies, VPBank and VPBS representative expressed their appreciation for the sacrifice of the Navy and Coast Guard in protection of national water sovereignty.
