Surveying South Korean Market

In a bid to support Vietnam businesses to look for customers and partners and study import requirements and standards in South Korea by contacting and meeting modern distributors, importers and exporters and seeking business cooperation opportunities with manufacturers and processors, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will lead a business delegation to South Korea to survey the market and host the Vietnam - South Korea Business Meetings in Seoul and Incheon, South Korea from November 3 to 7, 2014.

 

South Korea is a potential market for Vietnamese enterprises to export agricultural products, seafood, apparels and textiles and woodwork as well as import input materials for garment and textile, leather and footwear, machines and equipment production. In addition, Vietnamese companies can cooperate with South Korean firms to take advantage of high technology and high agricultural and seafood processing technology. South Korea’s signing of ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and the ongoing negotiations of Vietnam - Korea FTA will open up more opportunities of business cooperation for enterprises of both countries.
