VN, Ireland Sign MoU on Agriculture Cooperation
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat and Irish Ambassador to Vietnam Damien Cole on November 3 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in agriculture and rural development between the two Governments.
The MoU will create a legal foundation to enhance cooperation between the two nations as it focuses on such areas as aquatic production, preservation industry, post-harvest, quality management and trade promotion in agriculture and aquaculture.
Minister Cao Duc Phat highlighted the signing of the MoU to the promotion of the two nations’ relationship in agriculture.
Ireland regards agricultural cooperation as the key to develop the bilateral economic development with Vietnam in the future, stressed Ambassador Damien Cole.
